I pulled my car over and started talking to her. But as I went to follow her, She ran into a very big rice field. Another two dogs from the village chased this other dog away. I followed her, but she was moving too quick, and I’m a bit of a sacredly cat in the rice fields because there are snacks.
A Lost Dog’s Journey Back Home
She disappeared, I do have a belief that dogs will always come back to you if they want to be saved. I contacted my neighbor, and friend, sent her the photograph. She contacted me and said, “I found the dog.” She had no fight left. There was no aggression. There was no barking. She just resigned herself to the fact that It was time for whatever the next step was gone be.
My friend decided to foster Cherry and rehabilitated her through the crucial moments. Cherry looked terrible at rescue, but her journey to where is now is incredible. How she traveled emotionally is probably the more mind-blowing part of her transformation. From the dog who I’d seen on the street. Who was incredibly skittish and scared. She bonded really hard with the people that she trusted.
She got to experience how to play with other dogs. Other friends of mine called up and said they wanted to foster a dog. After their two weeks with her, they decided they were in love and they wanted to adopt her. Cherry has the most incredible life. She’s cradled like a baby by her dad. She runs through the grass and through the open fields. She’s got three other dog siblings. She’s the happiest little thing. And it was a miracle.
Cherry’s story to rescue a Lost Dog

Her transformation, both physically and emotionally, is a testament to the power of love and perseverance. With the help of caring individuals, Cherry found her way back to safety and experienced the joy of bonding with humans and other dogs alike. Today, she lives a life full of love, play, and happiness, cradled by her new family and running freely through open fields. Cherry’s story is a beautiful reminder that, with a little hope and a lot of care, every dog can find their way home.
