This dog was locked in a dark, waste-filled room. He was always in a state of fear, hiding in that corner. A neighbor informed us upon seeing his condition. Wounds were all over his body. He was as thin as a walking skeleton. But his body has suffered these injuries.
Especially on the head, lips, nose, and cheeks. He got an infection due to his living environment. The rate of sepsis in the blood was high. He was very weak, dehydrated and exhausted. The tear here was serious.
The wound swelled and caused him pain. He was scared to be touched by the doctor. He was afraid the doctor would act like his owner. We reported his owner about what he did.
This dog grew up in that room his whole life. He doesn’t know what it is to be loved. He avoided our eyes and trembled with fear.
He is often punished for disobedience. His body speaks of what has happened in his life. Luckily he was found and left that dark place. What if his neighbor doesn’t see him? Just thinking about it is enough to make me shiver.
After few days he felt better
On day 10, he became confident after feeling safe. He trusted us when he knew we were helping. His wounds are healing, he is happier.
However, his old eating habits still remain. He eats very quickly and wants to stock up on food. We accompanied him for many days afterward. And the day came when he was discharged home. The first time the boy stood on the grass. He couldn’t hide his happy feelings.
The outside world is beautiful to him. He came to be caressed and comforted by us. His eyes shone with a happy light.
These are the things he dreamed about. A beautiful life is welcoming him. At the shelter, he quickly adjusted to everything. He gained weight and became more beautiful. He receives love and attention from all of us.
We want to make it up to this dog after all. He has gained 8 kg since the day he was rescued. We also planned to find a new home for him. Hope he will find a good and worthy owner. Not long after, a woman contacted us. We are happy for this beautiful ending.
